Mark Chamberlin was born and raised in New Hampshire's picturesque Merrimack Valley region. Before being diagnosed with ALS in 2001, Mark was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed the pursuits of hunting, hiking, mining, and gardening, among others.

Mark had a talent for capturing in photos what most of us hardly stop to see, the everyday beautiful details of our New Hampshire countryside. Due to his illness, most photos were taken from a car window.
